Where can I park?

Free parking is available within the hospital grounds outside the main entry on Knox Street. Please ensure you park in one of the allotted ‘Anglesea Hospital’ car parks. Please note that Anglesea accepts no responsibility for car security.

What do I need to bring with me?

Day Patients

– Any medications or inhalers that you are currently taking

– Crutches if required – please note we DO NOT stock crutches at Anglesea Hospital

– Glasses, lenses, hearing aids

– Comfortable loose-fitting clothing

Overnight Patients

– Any medications or inhalers you are currently taking

– Crutches if required – please note we DO NOT stock crutches at Anglesea Hospital

– Comfortable sleepwear and slippers

– Comfortable loose-fitting clothing to wear during the day

– Toiletries

– Glasses, hearing aids, etc

When can my family visit?

Visitors of overnight patients are welcome between the hours of 11am-1pm and 3pm-7pm.

We have an enforced rest period for these patients between 1pm-3pm.

Will I see my specialist before my surgery?

Prior to the beginning of your procedure your specialist will see you in the admitting area or anaesthesia bay.

How long will I stay in hospital?

When your surgery is scheduled your specialist will book your estimated length of stay.
