During your stay with us, we will endeavour to make you as comfortable as possible. Please let our staff know if you need anything or have any questions during your stay. We are here for you.
We do ask that you show courtesy to other people in our care by limiting noise and the number of visitors seeing you at any one time.
If you are staying overnight with us, we will aim to discharge you home by 10:00am the day you are scheduled to go home. We recommend you organise transport home for this time in advance.
Your specialist will have given you some idea of how long you will need to stay after your operation. The nursing staff in our Day Surgery Admissions will discuss this with you on admission. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly.
If you are staying for one of more nights, your visitors are welcome between 11:00am – 1:00pm and 3:00pm – 7:00pm and outside these hours by arrangement.
You have a right to limit your visitors, or to not have visitors at all. Please talk to your nurse to arrange this.
